Updated 11/26/19: There will be NO shuttle bus for the tree lighting. Parking will be the same as in the past. Santa will arrive (3pm) for his photo sessions (until 5pm) in the Cable Studio by Fire Engine – lights blazing and sirens wailing. DJ Laura will fill the air outside with festive holiday music, while holiday classics by the Windham Community Band (3:30-4:30pm) can be enjoyed inside our heated tent. The NH Audubon Society will offer a hands-on animal exhibit in the upstairs of the Town Hall, after which you can keep those hands warm at the Boy Scout’s bonfire. There will be delicious, free hot cocoa and cookies. The Windham Middle School chorus will invite all to join them in carols by the Tree (4:45pm) before the switch is flipped, the lights are lit (5pm), and our display is complete. As a final stop before heading home, visit the free spaghetti supper (from 4:30-6pm) at the Windham Presbyterian Church.
Last, but not least, don’t forget to bring your non-perishable food items or a new unwrapped toy. In exchange for these items, you’ll receive (even more) free raffle tickets for the many baskets that are donated by local businesses/organizations!
