The Planning Board is establishing a Subcommittee to study the variety of housing stock in Windham with attention to characteristics such as selling price or appraised value, number of bedrooms and proximity to services. Much of the data has been gathered for the new Housing Chapter of the Master Plan. The Subcommittee will look at this data to determine possible options to impact any imbalances with incentives, regulation or zoning changes. The Subcommittee will be made up of three (3) Planning Board members and two (2) members of the public.
Anyone interested in consideration by the Board for appointment to this Subcommittee is asked to submit their name, contact information and brief letter of introduction no later than January 12, 2018. The Board will interview applicants on January 17, 2018. Anyone not able to make the meeting date of January 17, 2018 is encouraged to apply with the schedule conflict noted in the letter of introduction.
