As Windham Building Inspector, I review and issue permits, conduct inspections, and work with the general public and local developers to ensure that all projects adhere to both town regulations and the Building Codes adopted by the State of New Hampshire.
Some items that are within the Inspector's purview include residential and commercial structures including:
- Electrical Permits
- Plumbing Permits
Deputy Health Officer
As Deputy Health Officer, I assist with septic system plan reviews/inspection, and well permits, and completion of reports.
Building Inspection Process
Building inspections will only be scheduled for and performed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All inspection requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and the address, map/lot number, and permit number must be provided at the time of the request or it will not be scheduled.
Requests for Certificates of Occupancy
Requests for Certificates of Occupancy (COs) need 5 days to properly process the paperwork and to ensure all information has been received by the Department and all inspections have been completed.
